Fra i Sassi Residence was founded in 2007 to offer well-being, quality, and comfort in the Sassi of Matera. It is a unique accommodation facility, offering a wide selection, tailored to the needs of its guests. Quality accommodations and accessibility are the common elements of all our accommodation options: suites, comfort rooms, and beds in the small hostel, an entire neighborhood, close to the Gravina on the Barisano side. Ancient cave dwellings with unique architecture, carved into the stone and equipped with exclusive services. Since 2022, the residence has expanded by connecting spaces and rooms of the Ai Terrazzini hotel thanks to Ecoverticale, an ambitious project of widespread hospitality that offers the possibility of hosting, organizing events, and transforming neighborhoods into cultural venues.
