Founders

Giuseppe Donvito
Graduated in Materials Engineering with a specialization in Design & Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan. I have been working in the world of design and additive manufacturing for 5 years. Since 2024, I have been a partner in a design and 3D printing studio in Milan and a project manager & lecturer at the Design Lab of the Kaunas University of Technology.

Alexander Maffei
Graduated in Management Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin and a Master's in Management from ESCP Business School in Paris. He worked for Spotify in the podcast strategy team and at NBCUniversal as a Product Manager. For the past 4 years, he has been involved in film production and distribution in Europe.
Our Story
We are Alex and Giuseppe, born and raised in Matera, and we love our city. For study and work reasons, over the last 10 years we have been fortunate enough to live in countries like Lithuania, France, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and to spend unforgettable moments in the dynamic atmospheres of Italian cities like Turin and Milan.
Every return to Matera is for us a return to our roots: an emotional rebirth in what we call our 'heart's home'. Together with our friends, we organize personalized tours through the ancient streets of Matera, unveiling hidden corners, unique stories, and traditions.
We believe that these experiences should be shared and reserved for those who, like us, wish to experience Matera in an authentic and profound way. It is from this spirit of sharing and the desire to bring the city to life for those we love that the idea for the Matera City Pass was born.

Graduated in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan and a student of Sound Engineering. In addition to deepening his experience in IT, electronics, and motorcycle design, he works as a web developer for the Matera City Pass.

Graduated in Classical Literature from the University of Bologna and a student of Italian Studies. In addition to deepening her experience in literary, marketing, and HR fields, she is one of the social faces of Matera City Pass.

With his engaging personality, Roberto is a true modern-day Cicerone. Passionate about food, fashion, and above all, his beloved Matera, he always knows how to recommend the right place for any occasion. He is one of the social faces of the Matera City Pass.

Born in Matera in 1996, Andrea cultivates a deep bond with the Lucanian territory. Through photography, he explores and narrates the places he visits, with particular attention to the Materan landscape. His shots focus on the harmony between nature and identity, capturing the connection between natural landscapes and those shaped by human presence.
