The activity will begin at 9:00 PM and continue late into the night, featuring the tale of the hero Perseus and a discovery of the Perseid meteor shower, the most anticipated of the year. Professor Franco Vespe, an astronomer at the Matera Space Geodesy Center, will guide you through his simple explanations, allowing you to admire the celestial vault with its visible galaxies and planets.
All this in the enchanting setting of our Murgia Materana Environmental and Archaeological Park at the Jazzo Gattini Visitor Center, exceptionally authorized for this wonderful cultural event by Director Mianulli.
