On Monday, August 31st, *Millennial Dream* arrives in Matera, in Piazza della Concordia in Borgo La Martella: a show that takes the audience on a musical journey with a specific destination: the 2000s.
A period that, in different ways, belongs to everyone: to those who lived through it, to those who grew up there, and to those who know it today through the stories, images, and songs that continue to be a part of our lives.
They were the years of great change, the transition from a still analog world to an increasingly digital one. The years of the first cell phones, polyphonic ringtones, burned CDs, afternoons in front of the television, and the songs that accompanied friendships, first crushes, and summers.
The show is constructed like a typical day for anyone who lived through those years.
It begins in the early hours of the morning, when backpacks slung over our shoulders as we headed to school and American TV series transported us to lives and worlds that seemed so far away.
Then we return home, to afternoons spent watching cartoons and theme songs we still know how to sing by heart.
The evening arrives, the evening of movies at the cinema, music programs, and the Festivalbar, whose songs became the soundtrack to our summers.
Until night falls, when the lights dim, the rhythm changes, and the journey transforms into a real disco.
Every moment of the day will come to life on stage with a completely live DJ set, constructed and played in real time, accompanied by voice, animation, images, choreography, gadgets, and special effects.
Not just a simple musical selection, nor just nostalgia, but a show capable of following a story, reawakening memories, and transforming them into an experience to sing, dance, and share together.
A journey into an era in which everyone can rediscover a song, an emotion, or a piece of their heart.
