The "In-Land" project is underway, an artistic residency that the city of the Sassi has launched as part of the celebrations for "Matera 2026, Mediterranean Capital of Culture and Dialogue." In this residency, the community will engage in a genuine artistic process (from September 28th to October 25th) and the collective creation of a cinematic work. Ombre Meridiane, the organizer, has selected Spanish filmmaker, anthropologist, and musicologist Miquel Puddu Roca, who will live in Matera for a month to produce a work that blends documentary and fiction, using the techniques of so-called "community cinema," with a common thread: images of power, the power of images.

During the residency, four Opera Studios will be held to present and explain the work as it unfolds. These events, all free of charge, are open to the public. The detailed schedule is as follows:
