Choral singing between Italy and Switzerland
We are inaugurating a series of concerts in Matera featuring two amateur choral groups from Italy and Switzerland: the Coro della Polifonica Materana Pierluigi da Palestrina, conducted by Maestro Carmine Antonio Catenazzo, and the Chor Inter KultuR, conducted by Maestro Fortunat Frölich.
After an intense and enriching week in Matera and its surrounding area, the two choirs will also present two concerts in Switzerland.
With this project, we are cultivating and deepening inter-European dialogue, which not only enriches us but also seems particularly important in light of the current global situation.
The program features Italian and Swiss choral and traditional repertoire.
