Lucanian dance workshop

Introductory workshop on Lucanian dances: This workshop will explore the main techniques and choreographic dynamics of several Lucanian dances, with reference to the sociocultural, religious, and festive contexts in which they were practiced. The workshop is open to all. The workshop will be led by Dr. Martina Paterna, a sociologist with decades of experience teaching Southern Italian folk dances and a PhD student at the University of Salerno.
