The initiative's goal is to encourage everyone, from children to adults, to try their hand at writing, highlighting skills that are often undervalued, if not ignored, and broadening the audience of participants as much as possible.
Teresa Ciabatti, born and raised in Orbetello, lives in Rome. Her novels include: Adelmo, torna da me (Einaudi Stile Libero), I giorni felice (Mondadori), Il mio paradiso è deserto (Rizzoli), Tuttissanti (Il Saggiatore), and Matrigna (Solferino). Her novel La più amata (The Most Beloved, Mondadori) was a finalist for the Strega Prize in 2017. Sembra bellezza (Seemed Beauty, 2021) was published in 2021. Her novel Donnaregina (Mondadori) will be published in 2025. She collaborates with Corriere della Sera, Sette, and La Lettura.
